WHAT ARE EXTRACTIONS?

Even if you have a consistent skincare routine, you may notice blackheads, whiteheads, blemishes, excess oil, and enlarged pores. The good news is these imperfections can be addressed through professional extractions.

Our estheticians use a series of tools and techniques to remove the comedones (fancy word for oil and dead skin cells in your pores) as well as small pustules that have a think cap on them. If you’d like clear, even skin, we encourage you to add an extraction on to a facial or stop in for a stand alone session.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AN EXTRACTION

An expert esthetician will perform your extractions under a magnifying lamp with a bright light so they can easily see where they are necessary. First, they will cleanse your skin to soften up the sebum and dead skin cells that may have clogged your pores. Then, they’ll use a special instrument to safely yet effectively extract the contents of your pores. Following the treatment, they will apply medical grade serums and skin care to maximize the effectiveness of the session.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR EXTRACTIONS?

Extractions are generally safe and produce great results for everyone, with a few exceptions. We recommend express extractions if you:
